Recently, Sunshine IP International General Manager Mr. Jiangang Zhangwas interviewed by Beijing TV Station on the topic of “Intellectual Property Disputes in Start-up Enterprises”.
Mr. Zhang told reporters that since the establishment of the start-ups, they should pay attention to the intellectual property issues in all aspects and make precautions. Focus on the intellectual property management system, the special staff of the management personnel, as well as the internal intelligence of the enterprise, prepare and plan in advance. In recent years, the state has actively promoted the standardization of intellectual property management in enterprises, giving targeted guidance to enterprises, and effectively reducing the risk of intellectual property rights by regulating the internal intellectual property management of enterprises.
Regarding the issue of trademark protection, Mr. Zhang introduced that start-up companies need to pay attention to the consistency of the firm's trade name and trademark when applying for a registered trademark. Even if the company name is not used as a trademark, the company's business name should be registered as much as possible, and the corresponding rights should be obtained to avoid confusion between consumers and customers in selecting goods and services, leaving hidden dangers for fierce market competition.
