Dispute over Infringement of Computer Software Copyright between Wang Zihan and Fujian Tianzhi Internet Information Technology Co., Ltd.

Both the plaintiff and the defendant in this case are Taobao merchants who sell virtual blind boxes called "gachas" through a gacha mini-program they developed. Tianzhi Internet believes that Wang Zihan copied its mini-program, infringing upon its computer software copyright. 

After accepting the commission from the defendant, Prince Han, our company promptly clarified the rules for developing mini-programs on Taobao. We submitted a large amount of evidence to the court to prove that the defendant had no possibility of accessing the plaintiff's source code, and that the source codes of both parties were neither the same nor substantially similar. We also applied to the court for a comparison of the source codes. Based on our evidence advantage and the professional opinion of the technical investigator, the plaintiff eventually withdrew the lawsuit.
