Recently, the All-China Patent Attorneys Association released its list of the “Top 10 Typical Cases of Patent Conversion and Utilization” for the first batch of patent agencies. Two cases submitted by Sanju Sunshine—“Intellectual Property Strategy Guides FPGA Chip Patent Development and Industrialization” and “Leveraging Industrial Operation Centers to Promote Industrialization in the Integrated Circuit Technology Field”—were successfully selected.
In the first case, Sanju Sunshine collaborated with Suzhou Yige Technology Co., Ltd. to address critical technological bottlenecks in China’s high-end chip industry. Suzhou Yige focuses on the development of FPGA chips and specialized EDA toolchains, aiming to fill domestic technological gaps and achieve localized alternatives. By providing precise intellectual property (IP) strategy guidance, Sanju Sunshine accelerated the development and industrialization of Yige’s core products. The firm filed 51 patents for Yige, laying a solid foundation of IP protection for the company’s rapid growth.
The second case involved the establishment of an integrated circuit (IC) industry IP operation center by Sanju Sunshine in the Wuxi High-Tech Zone. The center significantly increased the number of patent conversions and utilizations, facilitating technological upgrades and industrial transformation for 55 local companies. By adopting an operational model of “One Center, Three Platforms, and One Alliance,” Sanju Sunshine promoted deep integration between industry and financial services, strengthened cooperation with government entities and academic institutions, and effectively bridged the communication gap between technology supply and demand. This contributed to the high-quality economic development of the region.
